Desdemona, A Play About a Handkerchief

The concept was centered around two important themes. First was the song My Baby Does The Hanky Panky by Barry and Greenwich ©1966, performed by Tommy James and The Shondells. Second was the film quality of the script. I played with both by adapting and re-orchestrating “Hanky Panky” to belong in the world of the play, and then added lots of film projector sounds. The fun “20th Century Fox”- type theme came from a military march. The announcer voice is my dad, Marvin Payne.
