Corporate Event Video Production Design 2020-2023

In 2017, members of USITT were tasked with creating a working group with an end goal of creating a commission, focusing on national conference programming and projects in the area of projections and media design for live entertainment. I volunteered to lead the working group. Within a year, the working group turned into a sub-commission and then became a commission. I led the newly formed commission until the summer of 2022. As commissioner, I led programming and special projects in the area of digital media for one pandemic cancelled conference, one virtual conference, and three in-person conferences, and a digital media symposium in connection with the LUMA Festival in Binghamton, NY

In 2020, the USITT national office asked me to create content for the opening ceremonies in Houston, TX, mid March 2020. It was to be mapped on seven 10' diagonal squares. I was excited for the project and was ready to tech until the conference was cancelled two weeks before happening due to the pandemic. 

In 2021, USITT continues the diagonal marketing theme and asked me to create an opening ceremony video for a virtual conference mid pandemic. I also created all video for the conference, which included introductions and stingers for many virtual events, including zoomed award presentations.

In 2022, using the same theme, I was asked to create the opening ceremonies introduction video for the annual conference in Baltimore, MD, and then again in 2023 for the annual conference in St. Louis, MO.
